John V. Pasteris, Jr. 31 of Plympton, loving father and son died unexpectedly on Saturday July 20.
Born In Brockton, he was the son of Debra (O’Brien) Dickie and Brian Dickie both of Plympton and father of Haileigh Pasteris who “meant the world” to him.
John attended Silver Lake High School and later worked as an auto technician for Magee Chevrolet, where he was a truly hard worker and loved his job.
He loved music and will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh and smile. John was looking out for others and was always trying to help, where he was needed.
In addition to his loving parents Debbie and Brian and his beautiful daughter Haileigh, he is survived by his brother Matthew Hammond and his sister Rebecca Hammond both of Plympton and his grandparents Nancy Washak and Mildred and Richard Dickie. He is also survived by five aunts and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Richard Washak and Philip O’Brien
His funeral service will be held Monday July 29 at 11:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Visiting hours are on Sunday July 28 from 2:00-5:00 PM.
