Obituary

Remembering the life of...
Kathleen Ann Feesl, 67, a resident of Stillwater, Minnesota, died Friday, July 19th, at St. Therese Nursing Facility in Woodbury, after her long-suffering disability and illness.

Kathy was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on January 22, 1952, the daughter of Dr. William and Dorothy (Mayer) Ryan. When Kathy was a baby, the family moved to Perham, Minnesota, where her dad established his Chiropractic practice and wanted to enjoy the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. Kathy later worked for him as an office assistant, which she greatly enjoyed.

Kathy loved to watch sports, being an avid fan of the Perham teams for baseball, basketball, football and wrestling. She later enjoyed the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. Kathy also kept current with news of world events and family, and enjoyed talking about politics. Her motto was "I think I can", and that enabled her to ride a bike and drive a car, in spite of her disability. She had a heart of gold, and was a great prayer warrior. Her faith helped her "carry her cross" all her life with cerebral palsy, arthritis, numerous strokes, etc.

Kathy married the love of her life, Pat Feesl. The two families enjoyed life-long friendship after meeting through schools in St. Paul.

Preceding her in death are her parents, William and Dorothy Ryan; grandparents Jack and Gertrude (Foster) Ryan of St. Paul and Ft. Lauderdale, and Albin and Olga (Hall) Mayer of St. Paul and Perham. Also, baby brother, Gerard Joseph, is our little Saint in Heaven. Kathy's father- and mother-in-law, George and Mary Ellen Feesl also preceded her in death.

Surviving Kathy are her husband, Patrick Feesl; siblings, James Ryan of Perham, Mary Jo Baez of Fergus Falls (Dan Tucker), Mike Ryan of Fargo, Theresa (Greg) Jaroszewski of Moorhead, Peggy (Greg) Gilbertson of Pelican Rapids. She was the greatest Aunt to her neices and nephews, Will Ryan, Monte, Carissa, Gabe and Adam Baez, Angela Budke, Samantha Ryan, Nick Jaroszewski, Gina Schmidt, Amanda Gilbertson, Megan Summers, Eric Gilbertson. There are also many great-nephews and great-neices, friends and extended family members.

Blessed be the memory of Kathy Feesl.
