Carolyn Grosso, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Roman Ohotnicky, Carolyn attended Sacred Heart School and was a 1957 graduate of Torrington High School. She was employed at both the North and East Schools, retiring in 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence in 2011.
She leaves daughters Valerie DeCotis of West Long Branch, New Jersey and Karen Giblin (Brian) of Westport, along with grandchildren Kristin DeCotis and Brice Giblin. She also leaves a brother, Richard Ohotnicky of Torrington, CT, nephews Peter, David and John (Julie) Ohotnicky, niece Susan Ammerman, and several great nieces and nephews. She also leaves special cousins Christine Gemelli of Essex, CT and Mary Beth Anderson of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, July 27, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.

A private burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington, CT at a later date.
