Vivian C. Peloquin, 80, of Dartmouth died Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Emile J. and Jeannette (Lizotte) Peloquin, she lived in Texas, Colorado and The Villages, Florida before returning to the New Bedford area in 2014.
Miss Peloquin was the proprietor of Acushnet Watch & Jewelry at Lund's Corner.
She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bowler. She was well-known in the bowling field in Florida and New Bedford.
Survivors include her brother, Roger Peloquin and his wife Lucille; her niece, Laurie Cannon and her wife Michelle; three nephews, Richard Peloquin and his wife Michelle, Robert Peloquin, and Donald Peloquin and his wife Rose; her special cousins, Elaine and Bill DeSorcy; her other cousins, Pauline, Diane, and Ronnie; and several other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Her graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 559 Mount Pleasant Street, New Bedford. Per Vivian's request, visiting hours are omitted. For online guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
