John R. “Jack” Spierdowis, age 68, retired CPD, of Canton passed away July 15th at the Norwood Hospital. Born in Norwood, he was a lifelong resident of Canton. He attended St. John’s School and Canton High School and graduated from the State Police Academy in Wakefield. He went on to serve on the Canton Police Department for over 25 years before retiring. Jack was also a Bonded Certified Locksmith and Gunsmith and ran J.R. Spierdowis Locksmith in Canton for many years.
