James K. Burke, 45, of Dartmouth died January 12, 2006 unexpectedly at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of W. Kenneth Burke of Dartmouth and the late Carol A. (Feldon) Burke, he lived in Dartmouth most of his life.
Mr. Burke was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in South Dartmouth.
He was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and Jacksonville University.
Survivors include his father; his longtime companion, Robin Almeida of South Dartmouth; 2 brothers, Daniel J. Burke of Dartmouth, and John M. Burke, and his wife Kayla, of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Ann-Marie Richard, and her husband Michael, of Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Tuesday, January 17th at 10 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday, January 16th from 3-7 PM.
