Maria Fernandes (72) of Brockton died July 13th in the Brockton Health Center. She was the loving wife of Joao Fernandes.
She was born in Relva, Fogo, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Leopordo and Imilia (Crus) Andrade. Maria was known for her bakery goods in Cape Verde. She loved socializing with family and friends.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her 2 sisters, Nica and Minguinha both of Brockton, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday July 17th at 8:30 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Visitation in the Funeral Home Tuesday July 16th from 6-9 pm.
