WEBSTER – Mary H. (Bastolla) Anderson, 86, passed away peacefully Monday, July 8, 2019. Her husband, John W. Anderson, predeceased her
She leaves her daughter and caregiver, Cathleen J. Mandeville of Dudley.
She was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of Gilbert and Helen (Cannalonga) Bastolla and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1951. She lived in New London, CT and Washington, DC before moving back to Webster in 1958.
Mrs. Anderson first did clerical work at the American Optical Company in Southbridge for 5 years. Later she worked as aa perforator at Sandlerette Shoe and finally as an assembler at Cranston Print Works Company before retiring in 1985.
She enjoyed watching classic movies, playing bingo and eating out.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July l8, in Calvary Cemetery, Oxford Road, Dudley (please meet at the cemetery). There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
