Dorothy "Dot" Wilbourn Lowe, 81, passed away on January 12, 2006 at her home on Lowe Street in Water Valley, MS with her children by her side. Mrs. Lowe along with her late husband Gerald D. Lowe started and managed the family photography business in Water Valley, Lowe's Studio, over 42 years ago and retired in late 1999. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Water Valley and the Town and Country Garden Club.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14,2006 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Funeral Services will be in Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley.
She is survived by her children, Paula Lowe Hill, Gerald David Lowe, Jr and Richard "Ricky" Lowe, all of Water Valley,MS - Brother, Charles Lynn Wilbourn, of Tampa, FL - Grandchildren: Brooke Robinson, Courtney Lowe, Steven Hill, Trey Lowe, Caitlin Lowe and Ashley Hill - Great Grandchildren, Preston Dean and Lindley Kate Robinson.
Preceding Mrs. Lowe in death were: husband- Gerald Lowe (11/4/1986) and her parents -Waverly Roland Wilbourn and Niva Alto Moorman Wilbourn.
