SPRINGFIELD ~ Sandra L. (Jankiewicz) Tessier, beloved mother and friend, 82, of East Springfield, was Called Home on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Heritage Hall East Nursing Home in Agawam. She was born in Johnson City, NY on January 22, 1937, a daughter of the late William Jankiewicz and Rachel (Holden) Wolfe. She was raised in Springfield, graduated from Springfield Technical High School and had lived here for most of her life. She was employed as an Office Manager at City Opticians and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, both in Springfield. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Andre E. Tessier who was Called Home on May 26, 2011. She leaves her four loving children, Andre P. Tessier and his wife, Pamela, of Bloomfield, CT, Renee M. White and her husband, Gary, of Ludlow, Desiree J. Lind of Springfield and Kevin Bishop of Holyoke; her two grandchildren; her dear sister, Paulette Mazza of Agawam; and her many extended family members and friends. She was also predeceased by her dear brother, William Jankiewicz. Her Funeral and Burial are private.
