Maria Anilda Pires (60) of Brockton died July 2nd in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Sao Filipe, Fogo, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Rodrigo Pires and Domingas DePina. Maria was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church and loved to laugh, tell jokes and stories. She was known for her heart of gold.
Survivors include 3 sons, Anibal of Brockton, Kinzim of Boston and Amilton Pires of Cabo Verde, 2 daughters, Susana Pires of Boston and Aide Pires of Cabo Verde, 3 brothers, Joaquim, Daniel and Jorge, 3 sisters, Bobotche, Vitalina and Nuca, 3 grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday July 14th from 3-6 pm. Cremation to follow.
