Jorge F. Andrade Monteiro (57) of Brockton died June 29th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
He was born in Ribeira Boti, Sao Vicente, Cape Verde son of the late Pedro Maximiliano Monteiro and Maria Meletina Andrade and was an air traffic controller on the island of Sal, Cape Verde. In his youth Jorge studied overseas, love to paint landscapes, play guitar, watch movies and study history.
He is survived by his son Roberto Evora Monteiro of Sal, Cape Verde, 2 brothers, Carlos and Eduardo, 3 sisters, Natalia, Fatima and Helena, his loving step-daughters, Suzana and Samara DePina of Brockton, grandchild Jonte Barbosa DePina and former wife Maria Nunes DePina of Brockton.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday July 6th from 5-8 pm. Cremation to follow.
