Obituary

Worcester- Mary R. (White) Lamoureux, 93, of 101 Plantation St., formerly of 18 Plantation St., died Tuesday, Jan. 10, in St. Francis Home.
Her husband of 47 years, Raymond A. Lamoureux, died in 1993. She leaves two daughters, Sr. Adrienne A. Lamoureux, pfm, of Worcester and Doris I. Springer and her husband Fred of South Glens Falls, NY; a sister, Lillian P. Landry of Worcester; four grandchildren, Kristina L. Vrabel, James A. Higgins, Nicholas J. Strohl, and Michelle M. Strohl; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Arthur E. and Mary J. (Butler) White and lived here all her life. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Grammar School and Commerce High School.
Mrs. Lamoureux was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish and was a member of it’s former Ladies of St. Anne. She enjoyed singing, crocheting, and cooking.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church, 35 Hamilton St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Francis Home, Activity Fund, 101 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01604.
