Irene A. (Martinkus) Farwell, 65, of Windham, NH died Jan 10, 2006 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA surrounded by her loving family after a two year courageous battle with cancer. She had resided in Windham for 43 years formerly of Lawrence, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, MA where she grew up and was educated, graduating from Lawrence High School. Mrs. Farwell was employed as a Day Care Provider with Growing Pals Day Care in Windham, NH for over 25 years. She was a former member of St. Matthew’s Church in Windham.
She enjoyed the outdoors, flower gardening, and shopping. She was pre-deceased by her brother Frank Martinkus.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 9:30AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain in Windham, NH.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4 - 8PM at the funeral home.
