Obituary


LIMINGTON- Rosemary Lucier, age 80, passed away at Maine Medical Center after a brief illness on June 24, 2019.

She was born in Saco on Oct. 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Stephen and Lillian (Bennett) Buzzell and graduated from Thornton Academy.

For the past 25 years she was the care giver to her soul mate Leon. She cared more than most, loved more than most, and suffered more than most because her heart was so big.

In her younger days she really enjoyed roller skating, bowling and dancing.
She also enjoyed collecting salt & pepper shakers and commemorative spoons, as well as playing bingo and going to the casino, but most importantly - being with her beloved family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; and siblings- Richard Buzzell, Agnes Smith, and Betty Heyhal.
Rosemary is survived by her husband- Leon Lucier; children- Rose Pinkham and her husband Philip of Buxton, Mary Benner and her husband Curt of Limington, and Leonard Lucier and his wife Stacy of Pine Hill, NJ; Siblings- Christine Fournier, Barbara LeVasseur, Stephen Buzzell and his wife Jean, George Buzzell and his wife Margaret, Charles Buzzell, Fred Buzzell Sr., and his wife Mary, and David Buzzell Sr. and his wife Sally; ten grandchildren; Chelsea, Miranda, Phil, Amber, Barry, Royce, Blake, Brant, Lindsey, and Randy; Seventeen great grandchildren; Mason, Carter, Weston, Caleb, Kailynn, Landon, Sawyer, Aubree, Judson, Levi, Braedyn, Norah, Olivia, Keane, Colin, Madison and Camille.

Visitation will be on Friday June 28 from 11 AM – 12 noon, followed by a 12-noon funeral service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22), Buxton. Burial will be at a later date.
