Rose S. (Lombardi) Rowe passed away on June 16, 2019. She was 89 years old.
Rose was a lifelong resident of Malden. She worked for many years for the Malden Public Schools as a cafeteria worker, and later worked in the cafeteria at Cheverus School in Malden. Rose was also a longtime parishioner at Saint Peter’s Parish in Malden.
Rose was the wife of the late George D. Rowe. She was the beloved mother of Dennis G. Rowe and his wife Dianne of Naples, FL, Michael A. Rowe and his wife Megan of Medford, and the late Ronald G. Rowe and his surviving wife Karen. Rose was the sister of Millie Herlihey and the late Connie Bucci, Rocco and Anthony Lombardo. She was the cherished grandmother of Lisa Marie Murray, Louise Ann Pierce, Toni-Marie Hamilton, Marissa Morrison, Nicholas and Andrew Rowe, and Emma Louise Rowe, and Abbey Marie Rowe. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Rose’s life at St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden on Thursday June 20th at 10:00am.
Private interment of ashes will take place on Friday at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
