Obituary

Margaret A. (Earey) Brunelli 80, of Franklin, and a former longtime Wrentham resident, died peacefully, with family at her side, Friday June 14, 2019 at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest F. “Butchie” Brunelli, who died in 2016.

Born March 12, 1939 in London, England a daughter of the late Bertram E. and Ivy (Ward) Earey, she came to the United States in 1968 and settled in Maine.


Margaret was educated in London and worked as a bartender in numerous restaurants, including the Caravan, Blue Boar, and Dan Hannah’s Chowder House.


She enjoyed spending time with her family, winters in Florida, knitting, crocheting, and traveling to Caribbean islands.


She is survived by her children, Karen E. Bertoni and her husband Bruce of Franklin, & Nikki Sutherland of Blackstone, her siblings, Patricia M. Watson of England, Michael J. Earey of England and Jacqueline Slowe.


Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren, Melisa, Amanda, Ashley, Joshua, Nicholas, Deven and 6 great grandchildren.


Margaret’s funeral service and interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery will be held privately.
