CHICOPEE ~ Terry M. (Tremblay) Tetreault, 57, of Chicopee, was Called Home on Thursday, June 13, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life at her home surrounded by all of the memories that she loved and cherished. She was born Therese Marie Tremblay on August 28, 1961, a beloved daughter of Jeannine T. (Chauvin) Tremblay of Granby and the late Robert J. Tremblay who was Called Home on November 27, 2013. She was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee High School in 1979 and lived in Chicopee most of her life. She was employed as a Preprint Assistant for over 20 years at the Springfield Republican Newspaper. During her leisure time, Terry was a diehard NASCAR fan and loved watching races. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, best friend and the love of her life, Charles H. “Butch” Tetreault who was Called Home on December 19, 1986. In addition to her mother, she also leaves her loving daughter and son-in-law, Tina M. Tetreault and her husband, Nicholas Chartier, of Chicopee; her two cherished grandsons, Tyler and Brayden Chartier; her dear brother, Richard P. Tremblay and his wife, Debbie, of North Troy, VT; her two dear sisters, Diane Gallagher and her husband, Michael, of Chicopee and Joanne C. Sowa and her husband, Paul, of Granby; her many dear nephews and nieces including her godson, Kevin J. Gallagher; and her many dear cousins, friends and extended members of the Tetreault and Tremblay families. Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Saint Patrick Cemetery, 168 Fuller Road, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
