Jane K. Dore, 88

Jane K. (Forsyth) Dore, age 88, of Sharon, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home on Sunday, June 9, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Franklyn “Frank” Dore and the longtime companion of the late Lawrence “Larry” Loomis.
Born in Derby, CT on February 3, 1931, she was a loving daughter of the late Alexander and Edna (Brink) Forsyth.
Jane was an accomplished artist for many years. She was a former receptionist at Metal Bellows in Sharon, worked as an Assistant Director of Programs for the Harpswell School Department in Maine and for S.O.S. (Save Our Strays) in Lubec, Maine, where she resided for many years with her late companion Larry.
She is survived by her devoted children: Russell C. Flynne, Sr. of Norwood and Holly J. Flynne of Sharon. She was the cherished grandmother of Russell C. Flynne, Jr., Richard T. Flynne, Stephen J. Flynne and the great grandmother of Katelyn A. Flynne and Sean R. Flynne. She is also survived by her beloved cat Newman.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours have been omitted.
