MARY C. ROCHE
MARY C. (CHISHOLM) ROCHE, age 86, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006 at Carney Hospital in Dorchester following a long illness. A lifelong resident of Dorchester, she was the wife of the late James A. Roche. Born and educated in Dorchester, Mrs. Roche was retired from The Gillette Razor Co. in Boston where she worked as an assembler. She was also retired from the Murphy School in Dorchester where she worked in the cafeteria. Mrs. Roche was a member of the K Club in Dorchester, St. Mark's 60 plus club and St. Brendan's Senior Citizens. She had also belonged to bowling leagues and was an avid Bingo player. She is survived by her 2 daughters; Barbara Dhooge and her husband Gene of Pembroke, Judith Malcolm and her husband Derek of Houston, TX. , her son James A. Roche of Neponset, her sister of Kay Palmer of Wollaston, 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late John Chisholm, Edward Chisholm, Frances Chisholm and Margaret Hedspeth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday morning in St. Ann's Church, Neponset at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
