FALL RIVER – Maria da Conçeicao (Medeiros) De Sousa, age 99 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at St. Anne’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Pilar da Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores, she was the wife of the late Jose De Sousa and the daughter of the late Jose & Espinola Medeiros. She was a homemaker at home and a parishioner at Espirito Santo Church.
Survivors include her two daughters: Maria Eduarda Rego and Alda Pacheco both of Fall River; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by all of her siblings.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Wednesday, June 5th with a visitation from 8:15-9:15 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
