BAR MILLS- Marie C. (Grubb) Huston, 63, passed away May 24, 2019 after a brief illness, surrounded by her Husband and Children.
Marie was a loving and caring woman, who married her Sweetheart Greg, and together they built a home and family. She had two wonderful children, Christina and James, that she adored. Through Christina, she was blessed with three beautiful Granddaughters, Mia, Melinda, and Rose Marie, whom she was so proud of.
While Marie absolutely adored her human Family, she was crazy for all the furkids, that padded their way through her life. Most notably Toby, the amazing Lab, Max her little buddy shih tzu, Moe her protector bichon frise and Duke her little puggle.
Marie enjoyed going to Bingo on Sunday nights with her friend Debbie. Winning was never important, she was just as happy if her friend called. She also never passed up an opportunity to check out a yard sale, much to the chagrin of her ever patient husband, who always found a place for her new treasure.
Marie had her own cleaning business, and loved her clients, like an extended family. She worked hard all her life, right up to the last week of her life.
Words could never portray the Great Love and Great Loss her family and friends feel. She was an extraordinary person, that all who were fortunate enough to call Friend, feel blessed.
Burial will be at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery.
