Thomas C. Etheridge, 77, of Chepachet, RI and New Port Richey, FL passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2019. A Navy Veteran and a member of the of the Knights of Columbus Pascoag Council #383, Thomas was a mechanical engineer for New England Power for 25 years and later for Siemans - Turbocare division. Thomas was passionate about his work and retired at the age of 73.
Thomas was the epitome of a family man, always there when you needed him, with a smile on his face. Blessed were those that knew him, he will be forever loved and missed.
Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Flora R. (Goulet) Etheridge and the late Timothy Etheridge. Besides his wife Pamela J. (Long) Etheridge, Thomas leaves his three sons, Thomas G. Etheridge and his wife Amy of Providence, Mark Etheridge and his wife Shari of Bridgeport, West Virginia, Brian Etheridge and his wife Robin of Chepachet, and one daughter Michelle Egan and her husband Michael Egan of Coventry, and his pride and joy his eight grandchildren, Timmy, Emily, Paige, Ariel, Ian, Collin Etheridge and Jacob and Ryan Egan.
A Mass of Christian burial for Thomas will be held on June 8th at 9:30am in St. Eugene’s Church, 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI 02814. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet, RI. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Eugene’s Church, PO Box A, Chepachet, RI 02814.
