Louis R. Annunziata, 72, of Roger Williams Drive, Johnston, died Friday, May 17, 2019 with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Ann-Marie (Pella) Annunziata. They had been happily married for 51 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Victor and Yolanda (Andreozzi) Annunziata. Louie was a member of Local #271 Laborers' International Union of North America since 1969. He had recently been presented with his 50 year pin, certificate and membership card. He worked on many landmark projects such as the construction of the Providence Civic Center, renovation of the Biltmore Hotel, construction of the Jamestown-Verrazzano Bridge, the Repowering Project of Manchester Street, construction of the Providence Place Mall and the Washington Bridge Project.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Lori-Ann Annunziata of Johnston, Lynne Marie DiBiase of Glocester, his two granddaughters, Isabella and Sophia and his siblings Victoria Ardente of Clearwater, FL and Ronald Annunziata of Warwick.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, May 21 at 8:30 am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be Monday, May 20 from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
