New Bedford – Sandra Jean (Whitner) Vieira, age 62, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Hathaway Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Vieira, who passed away 5 years ago.
Sandra was born in Dalton, Georgia to the late Clyde Whitner and Martha (Barton) Alderman. She had been employed as a truck driver for Don Vigeant & Son.
She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Alderman and son-in-law Brian Cox; grandson, Dylan; siblings, Leeann Norton and Kenneth Alderman; nephew, Andrew Fowler; niece, Nina Marie Fowler; great-nieces, Angelina Marie Fowler and Kayleigh Ann Fowler.
Sandra’s funeral arrangements are private.
