William F. Borski passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, surrounded by the caring staff of Charlton Manor. William was born June 17, 1940 in Webster, Ma. He is the son of the late Joseph A and the late Alice (Laplante) Borski, Sr. He was one of twelve children. He also leaves a close friend Michael Jarominski, CPA of Webster.
Bill was a resident of the Charlton Manor Rest Home, 12 Town Farm Road, Charlton, MA for the past 13 years, where he enjoyed the grounds and feeding the birds daily, no matter the weather outside. His requests were simple and he was always greatly appreciative of the care he received. Bill expressed his gratitude to the staff often, which he considered family.
He served in the United States Army. He was an expert marksman. He served his country with duty, honor and courage. He had spent time at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Bill often donated to tahe Wounded Warriors Project.
Bill was very generous with gifts to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, St. Joseph’s Basilica in Webster, and the Texas Department of Agriculture Relief Fund. He also gave over the years to the American Red Cross. Bill often was moved to give during a humanitarian crisis. He helped provide hope to others in time of need.
“It was with great pleasure for my staff and in collaboration with Jewish Hospice to care for a man who gave to his country and to so many charitable causes” stated Michael Turpin, President of Charlton Manor Rest Home.
To celebrate the life of William F. Borski, donations may be made to the American Red Cross, or to the Charlton Manor Rest Home, 12 Town Farm Road, Charlton, MA for a tree to be planted on the grounds in his memory.
