Marie Prophete (84) of Brockton died May 13th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti daughter of the late Paul Prophete and Suzette (Jean) Prophete. Marie was a member of the New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church. She loved to cook and clean.
Marie is survived by 3 sons, Henry R. and his wife Marie Jean of Brockton, Durcanel Moise of New York and Fritz Prophete of Florida, a daughter Marie Yolette Jean of Haiti, 2 brothers, Jack Prophete of Florida and Roland Paul of Brockton, 3 sisters, Sandra Prophete of Haiti, Marisse Jean Francois and Hugette Henrigues both of Florida, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will take place in the New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church 871 N. Main Street Randolph Saturday June 1st at 9 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery. Viewing 8 am prior to services.
