Maudie Lee Bryson Hawkins, 70, of Lenox died Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Allen Webb will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Ms. Hawkins was born on April 4, 1935 in Coker Creek, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Joe Bryson and Celie Rose Bryson, both deceased. Ms. Hawkins was a member of Winds of Change Church in Cecil and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her companion, Bruce Chiasson of Lenox; a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Candy Hawkins of Hilliard, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Allen Webb of Cecil; and five grandchildren, Miriah Durrance, Graig Durrence, B. J. Chiasson, Roger Hylemon, Jr. and Thomas Hylemon.
