Margaret T. (Ford) Pace, an 11 year resident of Weston, Massachusetts and a former 37 year resident of Lincoln, Massachusetts, entered into eternal life peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was 82 years of age.
Margaret was born in Boston on January 5, 1937, a daughter of the late William A. Ford and Julia (Grady) Ford. She grew up in Dorchester where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Dorchester High School in 1955. Margaret moved to Lincoln, Massachusetts in 1968 to raise her 3 children as a single mom. She began working for the Town of Lincoln in the Public Works Department as an Administrator for the Water Department. She retired from the Town of Lincoln in 2005 following 26 years of dedicated service to the people of Lincoln. She took great pride in raising her 3 children and their accomplishments, and in later years enjoyed the quality times spent with each one of her grandchildren.
Margaret is the devoted mother of Cheryl Pace, Alfred Pace Jr. and his wife Ann and Susan Pace-McComb and her husband Thomas. She is the loving Nana to Zachary, Mary, Lichele, Alfred III "Tripp", Isabella, Stella Rose, Rocco, Jordan, Lucia, Courtney, Chad, Charisse and her great-grandson A.J. She is the beloved sister of Sr. Eileen Ford and the late Noreen "Patsy" Barbati, Bridie Kupcewicz, Mary Bouchard, Julie DiSangro, Jane Lehan, Rev. William Ford, John Ford, Thomas Ford and Tobias "Tobey" Ford. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Margaret's Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln. Her burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
