Mrs. Mary K. (Gaudet) Skea of Lawrence, formerly of Andover, passed away at the Prescott House in North Andover on Saturday, May 11, 2019. She was 93 years old.
Born in Rumford, Maine, on May 30, 1925, she was the beloved daughter of the late Philip I. and Mary E. (Gallant) Gaudet. Mrs. Skea worked for Tyer Rubber in Andover and as an assembler for Honeywell Electric, for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed making quilts, sewing, cooking and teaching ceramics. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving daughters; Charleen and her husband Rolando, Susan and her husband Steven, son-in-law; Walter, grandchildren; Rolando, Jr., Tony, Adam, Kerry, Kathy, Michael, Stephanie, Gregory, Rhonda and Billy, great-grandchildren; Taylor, Shelby, Cody, AJ, Dillon, Jake, Cole, Cooper, Ryan, Tyler, Zachary, Madison, Jamie, Casey, Samantha, Rachel, Alexis, Shannon, Nick, Steven and Emilia, great-greatgrandchildren; Adrian, Ada, Victoria, Julian and Zander, siblings; Amelia, Olive, Carol and Richard and Austin, dear friend; Diane Siudut and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Mary and Linda and sister of the late Philip, Clifford, Wilfred, Theresa, Anita and John.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Wednesday morning, May 15, 2019, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, from 3 to 7 PM. Interment will be held in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
