BUXTON- Christina “Chrissy” Reed Merrill, 39, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center surrounded by family on Thursday May 9th. Chrissy was born in Portland to Anthony and Penelope (Brown) Reed on August 12, 1979.
Chrissy enjoyed being around family and friends. She loved watching soap operas and reality tv while drinking Mountain Dew.
Before having health issues, Chrissy spent a lot of time helping her parents and family. Chrissy leaves behind a huge family. First and foremost, her two daughters Nicole Merrill of Buxton, Desirae Jean Merrill of South Portland. and Hailee Merrill of Windham who was like a daughter to her. Her sister, Jennifer Merrill and her husband Michael Merrill of Owasso, OK. and her brother, Scott Reed of Buxton. Her nephews Seth Merrill of Owasso, OK, Mason Roode of Porter, and James Leighton of Portland. Her niece Cassandra Roode of Porter. As well as many other family members and friends.
Chrissy is predeceased by her parents Penelope (Brown) and Anthony Reed. Her grandparents Claudia (McCormack) and Gene Brown. As well as the father of her girls, Scott Merrill.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified of time and place.
