Ernest T. Reimann 88, a resident of Newton Lower Falls for over 51 years, died on Friday January 6th at the Epoch Senior Healthcare of Weston. A native of Watertown Ernest grew up in Watertown graduating from Watertown High School in 1936. He later enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1942 where he was wounded and later discharged in 1946. Ernest continued his education and graduated from Babson College in 1947. Ernest was a Manufacturer Representative for Farberware for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, The Pequossette Lodge AF & AM in Watertown and the Aleppo-Shriners. Ernest was the beloved husband of 57 years of Jean (Hill). Loving father of Karin and her husband Nate Greenberg of Newton Lower Falls and Kurt H. and his wife Gail Reimann of Dover. Dear grandfather of Jill Walsh, Theodore and Whitney Reimann. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services at the Lutheran Church of the Newton’s 1310 Centre St. Newton Centre on Monday January 9th at 10:00 AM . Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Services with Military Honor will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury.
