Goffstown– Georgette J. Lafleur, 87 died May 2, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Manchester on June 19, 1931 the daughter of Romeo and Yvonne (Martel) DesRochers.
Prior to her retirement she worked in nursing services at the V.A. Hospital.
She held membership in the VFW, the Med Vil Coop, the Red Hatters, and she was a longtime parishioner of Ste. Marie Church.
She enjoyed sewing and crafts.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Roland Blanchette in 1974 and her second husband, Leonard Lafleur in 2010.
Family members include her son, Donald Blanchette of Monpelier, VT., Gisele (Blanchette) Bradley and her husband, Jack of Goffstown, one granddaughter, Jennifer (Buck) Hyde and her husband, Matthew of Durham, NC., one brother, Bertrand DesRochers of Barefoot Bay, FL., three sisters, Lucille Brunelle of Punta Gorda, FL., Rachel Proulx of Laconia, Jeanne LaSalle of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Reception will take place on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 12 to 2 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A prayer service will be held at 1:30 pm during the reception.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 9 Commerce Dr., Suite 101, Bedford NH 03110.
