James M. Lamarr, age 49, of Canton passed away suddenly at home May 2nd. Born in Boston, he was raised in Milton and graduated from Milton High School Class of 1987. He has lived in Canton for the last 10 years and previously lived in Quincy. He was the Owner and Operator of JML Custom Building in Canton. Jimmy was a member of the St. Agatha’s AA and recently received his 12 year medallion. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Beloved husband of Shannon E. (Kane). Father of Kelsey Lamarr of Weymouth, Samantha, Casey and Jaime Lamarr all of Canton. Devoted son of Patricia Zupkofska and her husband Gene of Rockland and Richard Lamarr of Puerta Vallarta, MX. Brother of Karen Doherty of Rockland. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton Wednesday morning at 10:00.
