WORCESTER - Carmelle Bourassa, 81, formerly of 71 Outlook Drive, died Wednesday, January 4th in Radius Healthcare. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Kubiak, her son Jules Grenier, her brothers Conrad, Patrick and Bertrand Bourassa. She leaves her son Patrick Grenier of Notre Dame de Merci, Québec, 2 daughters, Mireille Grenier of Laval, Québec and Claudette wife of Charles Hebert of Worcester, a brother, Alcide and his wife Jeanne Bourassa, a sister, Claire Bourassa wife of Andrew Brent and her sister-in-law, Marcelle Bourassa, all of Montreal, Québec, 7 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
She was born in Grande-Mère, Québec, the daughter of Victor and Constance (Boisvert) Bourassa. Ms. Bourassa was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish, and volunteered with the Salvation Army. She graduated from St. Pierre High School in Shawinigan Falls, Québec and had worked as a seamstress for many years.
