of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Abraham Karas, died at Beverly Hospital May 1st. Born, raised and educated in Haverhill she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Eva (Aizen) Zeltzer. Miriam worked at the former JB Thomas Hospital in Peabody in the medical records department. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Karas and her brother Robert Zeltzer. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday May 7th at 11 AM in the Children of Israel Cemetery 324 Middle Rd. Haverhill, MA. Shiva will be held following the service at her former residence in Peabody until 9PM then on Wednesday from 12PM-9PM and Thursday from 11AM-5PM
