WORCESTER___Clifford J. Phelan, 65, of 21 Tuxedo Rd., died Wednesday, January 4, in the Odd Fellows Home, 104 Randolph Rd.
He leaves a brother, Richard D. Phelan of Worcester; a sister, Nancy M. wife of Matthew J. Saviello of Geneva, IL, two nieces, Katie T. wife of Tommy Plesec and Emily J. Saviello, and a nephew, Matthew D. Saviello. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of Clifford J. Robichaud and Irene M. (Kaminski) Robichaud Phelan. He later lived in Connecticut 25 years before returning to Worcester. A sister, Patricia A. Seymour of Boca Raton, FL, died in 1986. He was also predeceased by his step father, David F. Phelan.
Mr. Phelan worked in the shipping and receiving department for Stanley Magic Door Co., and retired in 1995.
Calling hours for Mr. Phelan will be held on Saturday, January 7, from 2 to 5 pm. in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Other services will be private.
