Yvette Dora Gregoire 91, of Manchester, died January 5,2006 at the Greenbriar Health facility in Nashua N.H.
She was born in Victoriaville P.Q. , July 24, 1914, and was the daughter of Mederic and Cassilda (Mathieu) Beauregaurd. She had been resident of Manchester most of her life.
She loved teaching children, traveling, crocheting, knitting and craft handiwork. She was a successful seamstress all her life and enjoyed doll collecting.
She worked in the Crotchet Mountain foster grandparent program as a teacher assistant; her last assignment was at Manchester School of Technology. Before retirement she also worked at Highland Goffe's Falls School and in the food service division at Webster Street School, Manchester. She also worked at US Rubber Co., and at St. Paul School, Concord. In her early years she worked as a department manager at the former Mammoth Mills.
Members of her family include a daughter, Claire Lemire of Bedford N.H.; a son Dennis R. Gregoire of Manchester; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Romeo Gregoire in 1979, and by a daughter Priscilla Gregoire in 1956.
A committal service took place at Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, on Monday, January 9,2006. Burial followed in Mt Calvary Cemetery.
