Lydia Teslenko (nee Onazki) of Hopkinton, formerly of Passaic, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2019.
She is the beloved wife of Henady, to whom she was married for more than 58 years, and devoted mother of Valentina Dingle and her husband Peter of Cape Neddick, ME; Helen Banadyga and her husband Andrew of Ashland; and son Henady, Jr. of Hopkinton. She is also the loving “Baba” of Natalia, Daria, and Alexander; and dear sister of Ala Spinosa. Lydia is predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Anna Onazki.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit with Lydia’s family on Saturday, May 4, 2019, 9:00 AM at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 24 Orchardhill Road, Jamaica Plain, MA, as well as attend a Requiem service in Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at The Gardens of Gethsemane, Boston.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lydia’s memory may be made to St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Boston, or to the charity of one’s choice.
