Obituary

Craig L. West, age 65, of North Andover, a lifetime resident of Winchester, passed away on April 27, 2019. Born, raised and educated in Winchester, Craig was the son of the late Ellsworth Courtney West Sr. and Helen (Ward) West.

He was a long-time railroad employee, working as a signal man for Amtrak for many years. In his spare time, Craig was an avid Boston sports fan, especially for the New England Patriots.

Mr. West was the beloved father of Kelly West and C.J. West, and the dear grandfather of Brayden Boyson. He was one of twelve children, and leaves behind his siblings: Marsha, Lance, Wayne, Joyce, Bruce, Daryl, Gail Fernandes, Terri, Lois, and Aaron. He was pre-deceased by a brother, the late Ellsworth Courtney West, Jr., and is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Saturday, May 4 from
10AM - 1PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at the American Legion, Post 273, 162 Winn St., Burlington, at 1:30PM . Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
