Obituary

CHICOPEE ~ Laura Renée Hebert, 24, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Friday, April 19, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life from injuries resulting from being struck on the sidewalk by a drunk driver. She was born in Springfield on November 28, 1994, a cherished daughter of Michael N. Hebert and Dorothy G. (Mandell) Wolf, both of Chicopee. She was raised in Chicopee, attended Chicopee Comprehensive High School and was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. She was last employed as a hostess at the Red Robin Restaurant at the Holyoke Crossing. During her leisure time, she enjoyed reading, art and truly loved animals. She nurtured and raised a pet rabbit who she affectionately called “Honey Bun”. Most of all, she was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and niece who truly loved her family and her many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved paternal grandmother, Doris E. (Martell) Hebert; and her beloved maternal grandparents, William and Lillian (McDaniel) Mandell. Besides her parents, she leaves her loving grandfather, Rene A. Hebert of Chicopee; her cherished brothers, Marc T. Hebert, Christopher J. Wolf and Matthew J. Wolf, all of Chicopee; her cherished niece, Ashlyn Hebert; her dear companion, Nikki Roberson of Chicopee; her cherished uncle and aunts, Steve Mandell and his wife, Gail, of Chicopee, Lauren Payne of Boca Raton, FL, Bonnie Sambor and her partner, Rod Duda, of South Hadley, Marion Fontaine and her husband, Joseph, of Springfield and Renée S. Boshuyzen and her husband, Timothy, of Chicopee; and her many dear cousins, numerous friends and extended members of the Hebert, Martell, Mandell and Wolf families. Her family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, her family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life at 10 a.m. at the LifePoint Church, 603 New Ludlow Road, Chicopee, MA 01020, (Please meet directly at the Church). Her burial will be private at a later date at the convenience of her family.
