Porfirio Mendoza, age 87, passed away on April 20, 2019 at Ridgewood Nursing Home
in Bedford New Hampshire where he resided.
He was the husband of Lucia Mendoza together they shared 52 years of marriage together.
Born in Bakersfield California, September 15, 1931 he was the son of Cesario and Martha (Castillo) Mendoza.
He was the youngest of four children, predeceased by his siblings Maximino Mendoza, Miguel Mendoza and sister Virginia Barraza.
He leaves behind his only surviving sister Ana Maria Amezaga.
He attended elementary school in California then moved to Chihuahua, Mexico, where he met his wife Lucia Mendoza, later he moved to Manchester N.H. where he worked at the Waumbec Mills, and other surrounding factories, retiring from Hermsdorf Plastics as a machine operator.
He enjoyed time with his family and friends, enjoyed puzzles and playing with his rubiks cube.
He is survived by his wife Lucia Mendoza and daughters Dolores Mendoza, Carolina Davidson, Maria Saunders and son Arthur Mendoza, his son in law Paul Davidson, Kenneth Saunders and daughter in law Casey Lever., grandchildren Angela Chauvette, Andrew Chauvette, Jessica Smith, Sophia Lever Mendoza, Tyler Lever and Landon Wilson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at 10:30 am.
