Obituary



SACO- Wendy Jean Littlefield, age 64, of Saco, passed away peacefully at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Sunday April 21, 2019.

She was born in New York on Feb. 18, 1955.

After studying to become a CNA, Wendy began a career of helping others. Over the years, she worked for several nursing homes, including 75 State Street in Portland and is remembered for her caring and kind personality. Her smile lit up every room she entered.

She will always be remembered as a great mom who was devoted to her children- Alishia and Carl Jr.

Wendy was an easy to get a long with individual who seemed to make a friend anywhere she went.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting; however, spending time with her friends and beloved family was most important to her.

She is predeceased by her father- Richard Gutmann; and a brother- Buddy Gutmann.

Wendy is survived by her children- Alishia Littlefield and her partner John Nadeau of Gorham, and Carl Littlefield Jr.; sisters- Diana, Carol, Peggy, and Kathy; grandchildren- Ryan Topham, Benjamin Topham, Jacob Philbrick, and Ayala Littlefield; and close friends- Carole and Bob Carr.


Visiting hours to celebrate Wendy’s life will be held on Saturday April 27 from 1 – 3 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Road, Scarborough, Maine 04074
