PARSONSFIELD- Ronald E. Steimle, age 77, passed away on April 19, 2019 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born in Norwood, MA on Aug. 26, 1941, son of the late Warren and Charlotte Steimle.
Ron proudly served in the United States Air Force and graduated from Northeastern University.
Ronald retired as a police officer in the Dedham Police Department after many years of service. After his retirement, he moved to Maine and worked at Dearborn Precision in Fryeburg, for SAD 55 as a substitute teacher, janitor and bus driver, and also worked for Norton Propane in Kezar Falls.
Ron was active in freemasonry and was member of Drummond Masonic Lodge, where he served as Master, Kora Shrine Temple, and was raised in Constellation Lodge in MA. He was also a dedicated member of the Calvary Bible Church in South Hiram.
He is survived by his beloved wife- Edwina (Holmes) Steimle, son- Robert W. Steimle of MA and his fiancé Carolina Bridnes of CT; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
