Obituary

Normajean Jackson,65, of Brockton, MA, died unexpectedly on April 17 at Boston Medical Center. Born in Brockton in 1953, the daughter of the late Howard Jackson and the late Helen (Coleman) Jackson.

She graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 1971 and spent over 30 years selling real estate in the Brockton/Easton area.

Jean loved to cook and was a fabulous dancer. Known for her infectious laugh and kind way, she made friends easily. She absolutely adored her dogs and was in her happy place when she was with them.

She is survived by her longtime companion and love Ronald Crisona of Brockton, her brother Timothy Jackson of Woodville, NH, her adopted family of Marion Deftos (Mum) of Easton, Thomas Deftos of Brockton and Daniel Deftos of East Bridgewater, nephews Timothy C. Jackson of Friendswood, TX, Randal Jackson of Groton, CT., Neal P. Jackson of Katy, TX and Luke Deftos of East Bridgewater, MA., nieces Melanie Jackson of Middletown, RI, Amanda Deftos of Boston, MA , Laci and Lyla Deftos of East Bridgewater, MA and many cousins. She is also survived by her beloved dog Suki, who misses her very much.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 PM in the Blanchard’s Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, MA.
