Donald Dean Adams, age 66, of Drakes Branch, VA passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. He was born in Farmville, VA on April 15, 1953 and is the son of the late Palmer and Mattie Adams.
He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak, and a Mechanic for Davis Pontiac in Farmville.
Donnie is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Harrison Adams of Chester and Dennis Scott Adams and wife, Brenda of Buffalo Junction; nieces and nephews, Jason, Melanie, Scottie, Neil, and Christy; and friend, Christina Whitaker.
Funeral services with Military Honors will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, VA 23002. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
