Obituary

Jay Fisher, age 75 of Wareham, formerly of Brockton died Monday April 15, 2019 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Lorraine (Allen) Fisher. Jay was born and raised in Brockton, a son of the late Clement and Louise (Loud) Fisher and lived most of his life in the city before moving to Wareham 17 years ago.

A graduate of Brockton High School, Jay also took classes at Stonehill College for computer programming.

Jay enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, tinkering and golf. Most especially he enjoyed spending quality time with his two daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved taking his grandchildren to feed the ducks, family camping and eating maple walnut ice cream. He also loved sitting on his back deck with his wife watching the sunsets.

Jay will be remembered as a fun loving, caring and happy go lucky man who enjoyed adventures. He was always joking and making people laugh. He will be terribly missed by his four legged friend, Scootch.

In addition to his wife Lorraine, Jay leaves his two loving daughters Tina Peterson of Newport, RI and Brenda Boyd and her husband Alan of Cape Coral, FL. He is also survived by five grandchildren Jesica Kelly, AJ Boyd, III; Kayla-Anne Peterson, Robert Peterson and Brianna Peterson. He was great grandfather of Austin, Ashlyn and Brantley Kelly, Elijah and Paityn Boyd and brother of Joyce Holbrook of Stoughton and the late Jean Brady, Gloria Fisher and Arthur Williams, Jr.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Tuesday April 23, 2019 from 4-7pm with a time to share memories at 6pm. .
