Joanna Letsche (Maskiewicz), age 80, of Weymouth passed away April 16, 2019. Joanna was born, raised and educated in Chelsea. She married her husband of over 50 years, Frederick, in 1964 and they settled in Weymouth where they raised a family. Joanna was very active at St. Francis Xavier Church most of her life. She worked as a travel agent at various companies and loved that travel was a perk of her job. Joanna loved knitting with her friends at St. Francis and cooking.
Joanna was predeceased by her loving husband Frederick Letsche. She is the loving mother of Thomas Letsche and the late Charles Letsche. Joanna is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Joanna on Monday April 22, 2019 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather at the funeral home Tuesday morning at 9am for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass which will take place at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
