Larry Beaty, 77, Anderson, died April 15, 2019 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie, IN after a brief illness.
Larry was born, June 16, 1941 in Wilder, Tennessee, the son of Manson Bradley and Lennie Dean (Smith) Beaty.
He was a machine builder at Delco Remy for 30 years before retiring in 2004. He married Della Leazenby on June 22, 1962, in Muncie.
Larry was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. He was an avid sports fan, especially Chicago Cubs and Indiana University Hoosiers.
Larry is survived by his wife, Della Beaty of Anderson, two children, Cathy Beaty and Tim (Lisa) Beaty; brother, Tom (Betty) Beaty; granddaughter, Natilyn Hepburn-Beaty; niece, Joyce (Lonnie) Moles; nephew, Tommy (Marie) Beaty.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Charles Barker of Church of God of Prophecy officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
