Obituary


Thelma Ann (Orlando) Cashorali, 96, of Walpole passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on April 15th after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Michael Cashorali.

Born in Walpole, February 15, 1923, the daughter of the late Nunzio and Fiorenza (Caleo) Orlando. Mrs. Cashorali was a lifelong Walpole resident.

Thelma was a graduate of Walpole High School and attended the Wilfred Academy to become a hair stylist. She loved to play bocce at the Walpole IA Club, keep journals for her family, attend her grand/great-grandchildren’s activities and sporting events and was also an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

She is survived by her children, Mark DePasquale and his wife Linda of Franklin and Susan DePasquale of Plainville.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Corinne Parker, Kim Ringuette and Mark DePasquale II.

She was also the great-grandmother of Karissa Parker, CJ Parker, Rhett Warner, Masen DePasquale, Zaden DePasquale and the late Ashlee Parker.

Thelma was the sister of the late Alfred, Guino, Anthony, Daniel, Chester and Eleanor Orlando, Josephine McCarthy, and the late Vito and Thelma (her namesake) Orlando.

At her request all service will be private.

Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
